Ayoub Chobah
Conflict resolution and leadership coach, based in Ottawa. I help managers and organizations resolve their conflicts, then lead with confidence.

My background
Human resources
A background in HR and organizational development: recruitment, talent development, team dynamics. I know organizations from the inside, and their tensions too.
Coaching and training
More than 1,000 hours of training delivered and 300 hours of one-on-one coaching, with an average satisfaction of 4.7 out of 5. Leaders trained in Europe, Africa, the Gulf and Canada.
Leadership in healthcare
At the University of Ottawa Faculty of Medicine, I'm an internal coach and trainer. I design leadership programs there and support physicians, pharmacists, researchers and healthcare professionals.

Leadership in healthcare, my everyday ground
In a hospital, a lab or a clinic, an unresolved conflict never stays between two people. It wears people down, weakens the team, and ends in burnout and poorer patient care.
At the University of Ottawa Faculty of Medicine, I've trained, over the years, hundreds of physicians in longitudinal leadership programs.
I also coach leaders in Ottawa hospitals. And I give talks on conflict management, team motivation and everyday leadership.
What I see every week: leaders who are brilliant in their field, and whom no one ever taught to manage people.

A well-resolved conflict makes the team stronger
The problem isn't conflict. It's silence, avoidance and things left unsaid. My approach is concrete, caring and action-oriented.
Conflict first
That's where it all starts. A badly handled conflict costs time, energy and talent. Resolved well, it clarifies roles and builds trust. I help managers prepare it, open it and lead it with the P.O.N.T method.
Then, leadership
Once the conflict is resolved, we consolidate: stance, decision-making, feedback, the ability to stay firm. It's also my ground at the University of Ottawa, where I design leadership development programs.
Let's get to know each other
The easiest way to know if we can work together: a 20-minute conversation, no commitment.
